It is not rare in our practice that small, elegant works demand the same level of attention to detail and modesty as large-scale projects do. One such instance is this one.
A garden terrace in Riga is intended to serve a variety of functions and incorporates aesthetic aspects while also meeting the functional needs of a particular client.
Consisting of sevaral layers of materials and different scenarious of functions garden terrace becomes a way to enter the building, a place to have a beautiful gathering of friends with a view of the lake, and a place to store seasonal items are all capabilities of the garden terrace.
It has it’s own built-in flower beds to ensure that the celebration of this tiny architectural form does not become a burdain to nearby residents.
